Thailand is initiating strategic preparations for the upcoming quantum computing era through the Thailand Quantum Readiness Workshop. This collaborative effort between the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES), the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), and IBM focuses on building a resilient technological foundation.
The initiative aims to address the rapid evolution of global computing power by fostering a localized ecosystem. Participants focused on the integration of quantum capabilities into existing digital frameworks to ensure national competitiveness.

The workshop outlined several critical areas required to transition the country into a quantum-ready state. These priorities include:
